Terms of Use

Tariel AI Assistant for Microsoft Teams
Last updated: July 8, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of TarielAI ("the Bot"), a Microsoft Teams application provided by AurialAI ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the Bot, you and the organization on whose behalf you act ("you") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Bot.

1. The service

The Bot answers mortgage-company operations questions when mentioned in Microsoft Teams. It retrieves internal knowledge your administrators provide and may perform public lookups (such as FHA condominium-approval, FEMA flood-zone, and web/government searches) to support its answers.

2. Eligibility and accounts

The Bot is intended for use by authorized members of an organization that has installed it through Microsoft Teams. You must have authority to bind your organization to these Terms if you install or administer the Bot.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

4. AI-generated content; no professional advice

Important. The Bot uses artificial intelligence and may produce information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, including with respect to FHA, flood-zone, and other regulatory matters. Its output is for general informational and internal-operations support only and is not legal, financial, lending, compliance, or other professional advice. Verify important results against authoritative sources before relying on them, particularly for regulatory, underwriting, or consumer-facing decisions.

5. Customer content and knowledge sources

You retain all rights to the content, documents, and knowledge your organization provides to the Bot ("Customer Content"). You grant us a limited license to process Customer Content solely to operate and improve the Bot for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide Customer Content and that it complies with applicable law.

6. Third-party services

The Bot relies on third-party services, including Microsoft Teams/Azure, the OpenAI API, and public government data sources. Your use of the Bot is also subject to those providers' terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

7. Availability

We provide the Bot on an "as available" basis and may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Intellectual property

The Bot, including its software, design, and content (excluding Customer Content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. These Terms grant no rights to our trademarks or branding.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE BOT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE BOT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE BOT WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your Customer Content or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Bot at any time by removing it from Microsoft Teams. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes take effect when we post the updated Terms and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Bot constitutes acceptance.
